Over molded brushes have been made possible by the molding technology used in the tooth brush industry. A harder plastic is used to hold the actual tufts, and a slightly softer one is used for the grip. This allows great combinations of colors of the brush back as well as the tufts. The softer plastic is easy to hold and is not slippery, even in wet conditions. Six assorted color combinations are in each pop up display case.
