This scraper is built to work. And to last. The stainless steel scraper blade is 8" across and 0.05"/1.3mm thick. It won't bend in normal use. The stainless steel bolts and ny-loc nuts that hold the blade in place won't come loose. Spare blades are available. The cast alloy frame that holds the blade is pressed into the aluminum handle, and won't come out. Flexible sprung steel blades are also available to fit the frame (MSC2), and plastic framed scrapers with integral blades (plastic, PSC7, or steel, MSC7) are available at www.hillbrush.com.
