Now we are using them flat-handed, as a great tool to rid our horses of their winter coats. It’s very satisfying to groom in big, sweeping strokes then easily pull off all the accumulated hair in a ‘mat’, before starting again!! There’s a lot of hair, even on my thin-skinned thoroughbred.
