The D4RES is the resin set version of the D4, one of the first 'hygiene' brushes made by Hill Brush over 30 years ago. This rugged brush is designed to work and to last. The angled material at the sides and front will allow cleaning in hard-to-reach corners, while the gripped handle is comfortable to use even in gloved hands. It has its own hanging hole. The product is made with a solid polypropylene block, which is shock, distortion and crack resistant, and unlike 'structural foam' polypropylene is not brittle or easily chipped. Its surfaces are smooth and easily cleaned. And it is non absorbent and rot proof. Polyester filaments have a high melt point, low water absorption factor, excellent tensile strength and very good sweeping characteristics. They will last many times longer than standard polypropylene filaments. In a resin set brush, the tufts are secured with stainless steel staples AND epoxy resin. This locks the
filaments in, and makes the chance of a strand pulling out extremely remote, as well as effectively inhibiting the accumulation of any soil or moisture in the tuft holes. Resin set brushes are usually recommended for areas of particular hygienic sensitivity. This product may be autoclaved at 273F/134C, or cleaned using standard cleaning agents, disinfectants and sanitizers. A non resin set version, D4, is available. See also the D6 on www.hillbrush.com.
